Downstairs panorama

Curses to Blogger's image compression and apologies for the quality on this photo. The good news is, if you click on it, you'll see it in a high quality rendition. A friend who came round said the house looked quite different from the photos in the blog because it was bigger in real life. So here's a wide shot taken from the sofa in the dining room showing the length of the room from the front door to the sliding doors. This was taken late in the afternoon hence the blueness of the light. Excuse the pile of weird stuff in the corner there, no, it's not normal to have a BBQ inside.

Looks yummy - particularly impressed by those chairs, if they were £39 each you got a bargain! How are you getting on with the bamboo flooring?

Yup, v pleased with bargain chairs. They're actually quite comfy so the need to replace them with "proper" chairs is a looong way off :) Am loving the bamboo floor aesthetically, but it does scratch (as expected) and I do curse our architect daily for talking us out of getting the underfloor heating, big mistake. Oh well.

Wow, amazing panoramic photo! It looks fantastic.

BTW, how do you get your photos to 'click' open like that? Do you use something different to the standard blogger.com uploader?

Thanks :) I usually host all my pics at Flickr, but uploaded the panorama via Blogger's image hosting service cos I didn't want it cropped. The window opens automatically, hence the rubbish quality on the main page...
